Bloggy Goodness... it's giveaway time!

Photobucket

It's time! I've been waiting since last fall to have my turn at giving stuff away and it is finally here. This is so much fun! I actually won two giveaways last year. Not to mention all the great blogs I got to read along the way. The carnival at Bloggy Giveaways is the whole reason I actually started blogging, so it seemed appropriate to give a little something back to the blogging community.

Ok, now to the goods. I'll be giving away two prizes. First item is this book by Muffy Mead-Ferro called "Confessions of a Slacker Mom". My sister gave me this book and it made me feel much better about being the complete slacker I am. Thanks sis! Seriously, it was a great little read and hopefully it will help all moms to remember that we don't have to live up to sister Suzie or neighbor Nelly's standards, just our own.

Secondly is a hand made decorative frame, made by yours truly. You can either hang it up, or stand it up like it's shown here.

Now for the fine print.

  • Winners will be drawn and contacted on February 3rd.
  • Winners will be chosen at random.
  • I will ship item to respective winner, so therefore contest open those in the United States only.
  • You do not need a blog, but I do need a way to contact you. So if you don't have a blog, leave me your email in your comment.
  • In the event that a winner cannot be contacted or has not responded by February 8, a new winner will be drawn.
  • Now please read carefully. I'm going to make you work a little for it. To enter, please post a comment here either stating how you are a slacker mom (or dad) OR something that you believe in (God, unicorns, world peace, UFO's, whatever). You can do both if you like, but duplicate posts and posts that do not submit at least one of these will not be counted, sorry.

I'll go first:

I'm a total slacker mom because I've been known to extend the 3-second rule for letting my child eat something that fell on the floor to a good minute and a half!

I believe that someday we'll find it... the rainbow connection.

See, now that wasn't so hard. And you only have to do one of those! Have fun with it and thanks for visiting!

Check out the hundreds (and I mean HUNDREDS) of other giveaways currently going on at Rocks in my Dryer.

I'm a slacker mom because I neglect my home and children to blog hop and enter giveaways :)! Does that count?

I'm a slacker mom because I like to sleep in. I should get up before Carson gets up, but instead my two year old wakes me up every day. Just think of the things I could get done if I'd wake up earlier. Mom is better to deal with though when she's had her beauty rest!

Cherie said...

I am a slacker mom because I occasionally let my child eat a twinkie or other quick sweet treat for breakfast, instead of seeing to it that he eats a good meal. Please enter me in your contest, and thanks!

I feel like slacker mom all the time! The list would be too long to post, so let's just pick ONE from today....my kids had cake for lunch b/c it was already out and I didn't have time to fix a "real" lunch, ha!

i'm a slacker mom because sometimes i wait until i can feel the slightest dampness on my baby's onesie before i change his diaper!

i'm a slacker mom because i've been known to give in to letting the kids watch a care bear movie for a second time, just to stop the whining.

I'd love the book! I am a slacker mom because I don't even have kids but my puppy sits and whines and flashes me his puppy eyes - I should be playing with him instead of reading or sewing!

Slacker Mom? I'm not sure what that really means but does it count if I say I hide in the bathroom to read sometimes because otherwise I get no privacy time to read?

I believe in God, the only true God. I believe that their really is a Heaven and burning hell.

Thanks for the giveaway!

Stop by my place to win a bath set & candles or one of two copies of a book I'm giving away. Don't miss the daily edition of contests galore that I post on my blog.

I am a slacker Mom because I feed the baby enough formula to hold him over until I drop him off at daycare so they can feed him a real breakfast. Its too hurried in the mornings to deal with making him cereal and cleaning him up.

I'm not a mom but I am a slacker because I've spent the last three hours going through giveaways instead of answering work emails!

OK, was that book written about me?! I am a slacker...shamefully so! I've done the 3 second (or longer) fall on the floor food thing, too! Right now I have a pile or two or three of laundry that needs to get washed. I have dishes in the sink to be put in the dishwasher. Toys on the floor that needs to get picked up. So, here I am, sitting on the computer for hours on end instead of getting chores done...my bad! Hey, on a positive note...I did put on makeup and did my hair! I also wanted to add that, yes, I am a believer of God! :-) Thanks so much for doing this!

I am not only a slacker mom because of ignoring everything to enter all these contests (and I did get here by going through every single one of the 735 before you) I also don't care at all about doing house work and only do it and make my kids do it if we HAVE to. Like my husband is about to bust out of his seams, or someone is coming over. Which happens a few times a week, thankfully, but weekends? No house cleaning.

I must have more more more sleep, so I plop my daughter in her crib in my room (we co-sleep) and turn on the tellie so she can eat Cheerios and watch 15 minutes of tv while I wake up. Yes, it takes that long to get moving. I want to sleep, but I'm too scared she'll choke or watch too much tv.
