- Did you know you can freeze whole gallons of milk? It's true. Just put the whole thing in the freezer unopened. (The plastic container will expand once frozen so don't be surprised.) Stock up when it goes on sale and then when you get low just pop one in the fridge and it'll be thawed in a day or so.
- Store bread in the freezer as well. When you're ready to make a PB&J just set it out on the counter and you'll have a tasty sandwich in no time.
- A friend and I share a supersized package of yeast from one of those warehouse type stores. I put it in a ziploc baggy and store it in the fridge. It is so much cheaper and it lasts forever!
